OSHA Compliance 

This HAZWOPER Train the Trainer course is designed to meet OSHA HAZWOPER requirements 29 CFR 1910.120 paragraph [e](5) for contaminated waste sites. It includes 40 hours of online classroom instruction. Pursuant to OSHA CFR 1910.120(e)(5), instructors are required to show proficiency in the subjects they teach and have instructional skills.

The course covers the contents of a safety and health plan which is necessary for site assessment and remedial operations. It instructs participants on recognizing potential safety, health, and other risks at hazardous waste restoration sites. It also trains them to utilize work techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively.

Course Duration

The course is comprehensive and is rated for 40 hours of study time. It consists of 25 in-depth modules plus a comprehensive final exam. You will be able to login and logout on your own schedule. The course will begin where you left off for a new study session.

Comprehensive Final Exam

The student will complete a comprehensive final exam at conclusion of the course. The exam is self-grading and you must score 70% or higher to receive certification. You will have three opportunities to pass the final exam.

OSHA HAZWOPER Certificate 

Upon successful completion of the course (finishing each module and passing final exam), a certificate (8X10) is immediately available for download. A copy of your certificate will always reside in our database should you need another copy in the future.

Objectives

The objective of the online course is for an individual to become certified (HAZWOPER Instructor) so they may train and certify individuals (general site workers) as detailed in OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.120 (e).

Authorization

Upon successful completion of the course including passing the final exam, you will be able to conduct training courses for 29 CFR 1910.120 (e) - General Site Worker. The course list includes 40 hour HAZWOPER, 24 hour HAZWOPER, 8 hour Annual Refresher and 8 hour Supervisor.
